Inara George and friends in concert at Theatricum

Acclaimed singer/songwriter and homegrown Topangan Inara George returns to Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum for her annual concert that benefits the theater’s artistic and educational programming. Special guests will be: Mike Andrews, Barbara Gruska, Joe Kennedy, Alex Lilly, Merrick, Gabe Noel, Lexi Pearl, Samantha Sidley, The Living Sisters, Wendy Wang. George, daughter of Lowell George, the iconic founder of the highly regarded Little Feat band is one half of The Bird and the Bee, a member of the band Merrick, with Bryony Atkinson, and a member of the trio The Living Sisters, with Eleni Mandell and Becky Stark. Also her 2006 solo album All Rise was a hit on Santa Monica’s NPR affiliated radio station, KCRW. The open air Theatricum regularly hosts repertory theatre productions, drama classes and music events. It was created by the late actor Will Greer after being “black-listed” because of his testimony before the U.S. Congress’ Committee on Un-American Activities.
